Bring polypropylene long underwear, ski socks (polypropylene or wool), warm middle layers, waterproof outer layers, goggles, warm waterproof gloves, warm snow boots, a balaclava or face mask, and a phone or camera. Helmets are required but provided; riders should bring goggles to pair with motocross‑style helmets.
The guided experience includes avalanche safety gear, radios, damage coverage, lunch from Yampa Valley Sandwich Co., and your choice of a brand‑new Polaris mountain sled. Shuttle service to and from the trailhead is available.
