What the Course Feels Like
The course is an intensive, classroom-focused progression: two evening Zoom sessions with your instructor frame two full classroom days where you move from reading chart symbology and Chart #1 conventions to plotting fixes, allowing for current and leeway, converting between true, magnetic and compass bearings, and finally charting a multi-leg course. Hands-on plotting, tide and current work, and practical problem sets make the material concrete and immediately useful for planning passages across Narragansett Bay or other coastal waters.
