All operators must be at least 19 years old and hold a valid, unrestricted driver's licence to rent and operate a snowmobile.
Can someone not named on the rental agreement operate the sled?
No — the vehicle shall not be operated by anyone not named in the agreement, including passengers and anyone under 19 years old.
Are refunds available if weather shortens the rental?
No refunds are provided for early returns or shortened periods due to accidents or weather conditions.
What happens if I return a sled late or without fuel/cover?
Equipment returned after 5:00 p.m. will be subject to a late fee, and snowmobiles returned without covers or fuel will incur additional charges.
Is damage insurance available and what does it cover?
Optional damage insurance is available per day per unit; it reduces the deductible on the renter’s equipment to a maximum of CA$3,500/CA$5,000 per day per incident but does not cover intentional damage, fire, vandalism, theft, or other riders and their equipment.
If the snowmobile mechanically fails through no fault of mine, is there a refund?
Mechanical breakdowns not caused by the renter are subject to a proportionate rental refund not exceeding the daily rental fee, less charges for use and fuel.
