THE LANDSCAPE

Coves, limestone caves and crystalline water

The route visits one of Cyprus’s largest coastal attractions: the Cape Greko Sea Caves, set against light‑blue water over white sand that makes the sea remarkably clear.

THE GEAR

Sit‑on‑top single kayaks designed for easy exploration

The trip uses light sit‑on‑top single sea kayaks that are suitable for paddlers with no prior experience, offering simple handling and some onboard storage for essentials.

THE ROUTE

A compact coastal loop with room for customization

The excursion is a go‑and‑return paddle to Cape Greko Sea Caves covering a bit over three kilometres; the guide can adjust distance and route based on group preference and sea state.

What the day feels like

What the trip feels like

You meet at the launch, board a sit‑on‑top kayak, and paddle along a rocky shoreline toward the sea caves. The pace is governed by the group and the guide: expect stretches of calm cruising across clear, shallow water punctuated by the close, sculpted rock faces of Cape Greko and the opportunity to thread into sheltered coves before returning to the beach.

Suitability

Who it's for

Who this trip matches — and who should think twice.

1
Active solo adultsWell suited: the trip is aimed at independent adults able to follow a guide, with a straightforward paddle and flexible pacing.
2
Beginner paddlersGood fit: sit‑on‑top single kayaks are usable by people with no kayaking experience, and the guide tailors the itinerary to skill level.
3
Heavier or larger paddlersNot ideal: each kayak lists a maximum capacity of 125 kg and rides are likely uncomfortable for payloads above roughly 100 kg; participants over these weights may be declined.
