After a calm start the day unfolds with a short check stop after 20–30 minutes, then longer runs—about 1.5 hours—to a remote lunch spot where you pause and absorb the scenery.

Midday you stop at a Lavvu (Sami tipi): the dogs are fed a snack while you make a fire and enjoy a cooked reindeer stew, relax on reindeer skins and take a proper break from the trail.
