Arrive at Twin River Outfitters (640 Lowe Street, Buchanan, VA) at the designated check‑in time. At check‑in you’ll receive rental dry bags, complete orientation and a river safety briefing, and load gear into the shuttle vehicle for the upstream put‑in.
Pack all personal gear into the dry bags provided by the outfitter so it can be stowed in the shuttle and kept dry during the trip.
