When can I book online?
Online rental options are available only Monday–Friday.
What is the minimum rental time and pricing?
The minimum rental time is one hour. Single kayaks are $25.00 and tandem kayaks are $35.00; additional time is charged in 30‑minute increments ($10 per 30 minutes) or $15.00 per additional hour.
Are there age or supervision restrictions?
Vessel operators must be 14 or older to paddle on their own; paddlers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult in a tandem kayak or canoe.
Do I need to bring a photo ID?
Yes. The operator will hold one form of ID for the entire duration of your rental—have it ready at check-in.
Are park entry fees included?
No. Park entry fees are paid on arrival and are not included in the ticket price (examples provided: $6.00 for 2–8 occupant vehicle, $4.00 for single occupant vehicle, $2.00 pedestrian).
What is the center’s policy for late returns or rescue?
A late fee of $50.00 per vessel/equipment applies immediately after return time; after 30 minutes it increases to $75.00 per vessel and grows by $75.00 for each additional 30 minutes. Rescue/recovery fees by staff start at $100.00; if the operator cannot rescue, Sea Tow fees start at $350.00.
What happens if weather prevents my start?
If you cannot start your rental due to inclement weather you may delay, reschedule, or receive a refund. Once you have taken equipment and the rental time has started, there are no refunds or rain checks for weather.
Is there an all‑day rental option?
Yes. Select the six‑hour option at checkout for an all‑day rental price.
