Bring sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) for warm conditions and warm layers including hat and gloves for colder weather; gratuities are graciously accepted (industry standard 15–20%).
All kayaking and camping gear is provided, including tents, pillows, sleeping bags and dry bags; guides will repack your belongings into dry bags for the expedition.
Luggage storage is available dock‑side in Friday Harbor and ground transportation between Roche Harbor and Friday Harbor is provided at the start and end of the expedition.
