Bookings are available for 2-, 4-, or 8-hour blocks; peak months include April–June and September–November while the venue is more off-peak in summer and winter months.
This is an entirely outdoor venue—dress for the weather (hat and sunglasses for sun, light jacket for cool evenings). Many areas offer shade, umbrellas and misters for heat, and fire pits or heaters for colder nights.
The meeting address is 1300 Railroad St, Paso Robles, CA 93446. There is an on-site lot with five spaces (one handicapped), but parking is not guaranteed unless prearranged; ample street parking and nearby downtown hotels are within walking distance.
On-site food and catering options are available; smaller parties (16 or fewer) may bring outside food, larger-party outside food requires approval. Outside wine/champagne allowed with corkage ($15/bottle); no hard alcohol permitted. Open, hosted, or no-host bar arrangements are supported with applicable taxes and service charges.

Are you a brewery and do you serve cocktails?
The Backyard does not brew its own beer; it showcases local Central Coast breweries and, with an ABC Type 41 license, carries beer, wine, cider, sparkling beverages, hard seltzer and saké- or agave-based cocktails but no distilled spirits.
Can we bring outside food or hire a caterer?
Smaller parties (up to 16) may bring outside food; larger groups (16+) require prior approval and may face additional fees. Desserts may be brought for any size party free of charge. Catering and special-menu needs must be arranged in advance.
