Bring a sleeping bag/blanket/duvet and pillow (a small number of all‑weather sleeping bags are available for hire), extra warm clothes, waterproofs, towel and swimwear if you plan to enter the river, personal basic first aid, midge/insect repellent, a head torch/torch (tent lanterns can be supplied with a refundable deposit), and food/cooking gear (a small camping gas cooker and utensils are handy). Hot water bottles, phone chargers and a battery bank are recommended.
