Essentials include a sleeping bag/blanket/duvet and pillow (some all-weather sleeping bags available to hire), warm clothing and waterproofs, towel and swimwear, basic personal first-aid kit, midge/insect repellent, head torch/torch (tent lanterns available with refundable deposit), phone charger/battery bank, camping gas cooker and utensils if you plan to cook, and food for breakfast, lunch and evening meals (catering packages like BBQs and breakfasts can be booked in advance).
