Do you guarantee Northern Lights sightings?
No. The Aurora Borealis is a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed; the operator tracks NOAA and NASA data but cannot promise a display.
If I don’t see the lights, what happens?
If the lights don’t appear due to weather the operator will invite you back another night if schedules allow; a charge for gas and mileage may apply if a repeat outing is possible.
How common are auroras in Fairbanks?
Auroras are visible in Fairbanks roughly nine out of ten nights from August through April when it is dark, though shows vary in intensity and thick clouds will prevent viewing.
Will you cancel for bad weather?
Yes. The operator will cancel or reschedule if weather precludes aurora viewing.
Is gratuity included in the tour price?
