Outing Highlights

THE FORMAT

Three Hours of Unstructured Play

When you reserve Gel Blaster Surge you get up to three hours of equipment use; play is intentionally loose in format—after check-in and a safety briefing, groups set up at tables and rotate through games on the fields at their own pace.

THE PLAY

Four Fields, Low-Mess Impact

Combat Zone runs four separate fields where players can take turns or join others; the gel balls are small, crumble on impact and leave no residue, delivering a quick, minor sting that keeps the focus on fun rather than cleanup.

THE PARTY

Bring Food and Decorations—Just No Alcohol

The facility welcomes parties and allows guests to decorate and bring food or cake for use before, during or after play—alcohol is the sole exception to what you may bring onto the site.

What the day feels like

What the Day Feels Like

You check in, hear a staff safety briefing, set up at shaded picnic tables and then move onto any of the four fields for rounds of gel blaster games. Play is flexible—groups take turns or mix with others, and you may purchase additional rounds during your reserved time. When equipment is returned, the festivities can continue in the staging area.

Suitability

Who it's for

Who this is best for—and who should take extra care.

1
Families with Young KidsSuitable—Gel Blaster options are recommended for ages 5 and up, making this an approachable choice for families who want an active, low-mess group outing.
2
Party PlannersA good match—groups may hold festivities before, during or after play, use shaded picnic tables and bring food or cake (alcohol is not allowed).
3
Players with Limited MobilityNot recommended—the terrain and obstacles on the fields make Gel Blaster Surge unsuitable for people with impaired mobility; the operator asks these guests to inquire about alternative target-range options.
4
Mixed-Age GroupsWell suited—because gel balls are lower-impact and crumble on contact, mixed-age groups (including children as young as five, with appropriate supervision and waivers) can join in without the paintball mess.

Frequently asked questions

Planning Your Outing

Can I speak to a live person before booking?

Yes. Combat Zone staff are available by call or text at 702-388-ZONE and by email, typically an operator is available from 9am until 9pm daily except holidays; texts are returned as soon as possible.

How old do you have to be to play Gel Blaster?

Gel Blaster options are recommended for ages 5 and up; for standard paintball the operator's insurance allows players aged 10 and up and minors must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian 18+.

Do gel balls stain clothing?

No. Gel is a water-based product that crumbles on impact and leaves no residue behind.

What should I wear for Gel Ball play?

Closed-toed shoes are mandatory; otherwise wear comfortable clothing appropriate to the current weather for running around on the fields.

Will weather cancel our play?

The facility is rain or shine; only flooding or winds over 20 mph will allow you the option to reschedule or get a refund if play hasn't started. Otherwise play proceeds in wet conditions.

Can we bring decorations, cake or food?

Yes—you may bring or have delivered food, cake and decorations for your party, but alcohol is not permitted on site.
