Hunt the Headless Horseman: A Daylong Paintball Quest Across Pinckney.
The Headless Horseman’s Hunt is a full-day paintball event in Pinckney run by Hell Survivors. Players move through a collection of distinct fields — from the Castle to Nakatomi Plaza and the Black Lagoon — competing in a sequence of short, intense games and searching for pumpkins stuffed with candy, toys and the one Horseman’s Pumpkin Head that carries a larger prize.
Highlights
Outing Highlights
Fast, rotating 15‑minute matches
The day is built from short, 15‑minute games separated by 10‑minute breaks. Players are split into two teams (Orange and Purple) and cycle through different areas of the entire field in a rhythm of rapid play and quick resets.
A stitched-together terrain of named battlezones
The hunt uses multiple named zones across the property — Grinder, Village, West Point, Helicopter, Castle, Highlands, Nakatomi Plaza and Black Lagoon — each serving as a discrete playground for the short games.
Pumpkins, candy — and the Horseman’s Pumpkin Head
Each field contains scattered pumpkins with candy and toys; one Horseman’s Pumpkin Head appears at every game and, when turned in before the next game, yields larger prizes such as a 2026 VIP, Open Play Pass, big event game passes, smoke grenades, paint, merch and more.
What the day feels like
What the day feels like
From registration through the final whistle, the event moves at a game‑day tempo: check in and a short briefing set the stage, then a sequence of fifteen‑minute skirmishes moves teams through different terrain. The attention is on quick objectives — hunting pumpkins, securing the Horseman’s Pumpkin Head and outplaying the opposing color — with short breaks to regroup between rounds.
