The private helicopter experience runs approximately 1.2 hours. Check‑in is 30 minutes prior to your scheduled flight at the Sedona airport location.
Bring a camera, cell phone, and water. Dress in layers — it’s often warmer inside the helicopter than outside. Do not bring carry‑on bags, purses, backpacks, or any bag with a strap.
Check in at the Sedona airport facility; go straight through the stop signs at the top of Airport Road and head toward the red building at the far left corner. The lounge has seating and two bathrooms for waiting customers.

Late arrivals will not be able to join the flight; the operator runs on a tight schedule and cannot delay take‑off times.
Is there a rest area or bathrooms prior to my flight?
There are several comfortable couches and two bathrooms for customers to use while waiting for their flight.
How should I dress for the flight?
Please dress in layers so you can comfortably adjust to differing conditions; it is usually warmer in the helicopter than outside.
What can I bring on the helicopter?
Camera, cell phone, and water are welcome on board. Due to limited space, any‑size carry‑on bags or purses are NOT allowed. Any bag with a strap cannot be brought on board.
Do you offer any discounts?
Apex Air Tours offers a 10% discount to veterans, currently serving military, and first responders; repeat customer and group discounts are also available—call the operator to book.
What is the cancellation and rebooking policy?
Tours rebooked are subject to a $20 rescheduling fee per seat and may be rescheduled up to 24 hours prior. Passengers who fail to show or are more than 15 minutes late will be billed the full price. In unforeseen circumstances the operator will work to rebook at no charge; cancellations 24 hours prior or more may be issued as flight credit. All ticket/gift card sales are final.
