Rappels, Waterfalls and Submerged Passages
Expect sustained canyon travel: multiple mandatory rappels once the descent begins, waterfall encounters and sections where participants are fully submerged but continually supported by guides.
Exposure, Ladders and Optional Slides
The route may require climbing a few via‑ferrata style ladders to access the canyon and negotiating condition‑dependent slides or jumps — which can be avoided by rappelling if desired.
Private, Small‑Group Descent Near Abraham Lake
Operated privately for groups from solo travelers up to a dozen, the trips move to the canyon best suited to the group and conditions, keeping the setting intimate and adaptable.
What the day feels like
What the Day Feels Like
The day unfolds quickly: a short meet and briefing, a steep hike to a canyon rim, then concentrated technical travel — two to four hours moving through the canyon — punctuated by rappels, brief climbs and guide‑assisted manoeuvres. Guides choose the canyon to match your skills and the weather; slides and jumps are conditional, but rappels remain compulsory once you begin descending.
