The base private-party space rental fee (due upfront to secure booking) is distinct from product payments, which are paid in-store the day of the event; weekday and weekend base fees differ.
The Wick Lab keeps poured candles to cure; pick up within 14 days or pay a flat domestic shipping fee ($12 for up to 4 candles). Candles left beyond 14 days are considered abandoned and may be resold for charity.

What is the private-party rental fee?
The base private-party rental fee is $400 for 2 hours Monday–Wednesday and $500 for 2 hours Thursday–Sunday; this fee secures the space and is due upfront and is not applied to the in-store total on the day of the event.
Are there discounts for poured products and retail items?
Yes: private parties booked Monday–Wednesday receive 30% off poured products and retail items plus two complimentary add-ons per poured product; Thursday–Sunday bookings receive 20% off poured products and retail items with two complimentary add-ons per poured product.
When can I pick up my candles?
The Wick Lab keeps poured candles to allow proper curing and asks that guests pick up on another day; candles must be picked up within 14 days or they will be considered abandoned and put up for adoption, with proceeds going to a local charity. Alternatively, domestic shipping is available for a flat $12 for up to 4 candles.
How do tax-exempt organizations make purchases?
Tax-exempt purchasers must complete and sign the TC-721 or TC-721-G form and email it to [email protected] at least 48 hours prior to their visit; tax will not be waived without this form submitted in advance.
