1
Absolute BeginnersIdeal for newcomers who want concentrated, patient instruction to build fundamentals in a private setting; note lessons are for ages 7 and up.
2

3
Families & Friends (Small Groups)Lessons can be booked for groups of 1–10, but everyone must be the same ability level — mixed-level family groups should book separate lessons to avoid compromised instruction.

Frequently asked questions

Planning Your Outing

What happens on the day?

Check in at reception at least 15 minutes before your start time, get fitted for boots and skis and then meet your instructor who will take you onto the slope.

What should I expect during my session?

Your instructor will put you at ease, guide you through drills and provide feedback — listen carefully and ask questions if anything is unclear.

How long does it take to learn to ski?

Learning rates vary; as a rough guide it takes about 10 hours of lessons for adults to reach a recreational standard (being able to ski from the top of the main slope, use the button tow and control speed); children often take longer.

Can a friend or family member teach me on your slope?

No — the insurer requires that only NSASC’s qualified instructors teach on site.

Can I pay on the day?

No. All sessions must be booked and paid for in advance.

What is your code of conduct?

Team NSASC treats all visitors with respect and dignity and expects the same from customers; anyone breaching the policy will be asked to leave with no refund.

Who can I contact with further questions?

Contact NSASC on 01560 322 320 or visit their lesson pages for more information.
