Located off the southern coast of Florida, the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary encompasses 2,900 square nautical miles of waters surrounding the Florida Keys. This sanctuary is home to the only living coral barrier reef in the continental United States, making it a hotspot for biodiversity.
