Indian Canyons, located within the Santa Rosa Indian Reservation near Palm Springs, California, is a collection of spectacular desert canyons managed by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. The area is distinguished by its striking natural palm oases, rugged rock formations, and desert flora and fauna that thrive along permanent streams and shaded groves. Indian Canyons comprises three main canyons: Palm Canyon, Andreas Canyon, and Murray Canyon, each offering unique scenic and cultural experiences. The palms here, particularly in Palm Canyon, are California fan palms, among the southernmost native palm groves on the west coast.
