Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park is located in Bibb County, Alabama, near the city of McCalla. The park covers the site of one of Alabama’s most important early industrial operations, the Tannehill Iron Works, which was a key player in iron production before and during the Civil War. The park encompasses both the historical ironworks facilities, including a reconstructed blast furnace, museum, and interpretive trails, plus natural forested areas that provide a variety of outdoor recreational amenities.
