Harness Mountain Wildlife Management Area is located in the southeastern part of West Virginia, primarily in Greenbrier and Summers counties. This protected area spans hilly to mountainous terrain characterized by mixed hardwood forests, including oak, maple, and hickory trees, which provide excellent cover and food sources for native wildlife. The area is managed for wildlife conservation and public recreational use, with a primary focus on maintaining habitats for game species such as white-tailed deer, wild turkey, and black bear.
