The Hugh Gregg Wildlife Management Area (WMA) covers over 1,200 acres in Rockingham County, New Hampshire. The area consists primarily of mixed hardwood forests, wetland habitats, and open fields, supporting a diverse range of wildlife including white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, and waterfowl. It was established to protect wildlife habitat and provide opportunities for hunting, wildlife observation, and hiking. The site does not contain developed campgrounds but encourages day use for outdoor recreation. Hunting is regulated with appropriate permits, and dog training is a common activity in designated sections.
