Customers born on or after January 1, 1988 must complete a Boater Safety Course and possess a Boating Safety Education Identification Card to operate a motor boat with 10 HP or more; completing a safety course is advised for all customers.

Is insurance included with the rental?

Yes. The boats are covered by comprehensive insurance included in the price; there is a deductible of $1,200 and SeaTow towing insurance is provided.

How much is the security deposit?

A security deposit of $1,200 is required when you pick up the boat and can be paid in cash or held on a credit card for the rental period.

Do I have to return the boat with a full tank of fuel?

Yes. You must refuel the boat fully before returning it; otherwise the operator charges $7 per gallon plus a $75 service fee.

What happens if the boat has a mechanical problem?

If a mechanical problem occurs, the operator will attempt to provide another boat; if none is available you will receive a partial refund. SeaTow membership covers towing back to the docks at no extra cost.

Can the operator deliver the boat to my vacation home?

Yes. For an additional service charge the operator will deliver the boat to your vacation home, a service available only in the Cape Coral area.

Do the boats include navigation systems?

Yes. Boats come equipped with onboard navigation systems or iPad navigation; the operator recommends using iBoatmap to find beaches and points of interest.
