Highlights
Outing Highlights
Three immersive dives framed by classroom learning
This full-day program alternates short classroom sessions with in-water observation, giving context to the species and interactions you’ll see during two daytime dives and a final night dive using black lights.
Watch the reef change from day to night
The experience is built around seeing diurnal and nocturnal behaviors: daytime reef ecology and, after sunset, fluorescent corals and night-active predators revealed with UV lighting.
Hands-on marine ecology instruction
Throughout the day instructors introduce species, explain energy flow and ecosystem roles, and debrief observations so divers leave with both direct experience and ecological understanding.
What the day feels like
What the day feels like
The day begins at the dive shop with check-in and gear fitting, then moves to short classes that introduce local species and ecological concepts. You make two daytime dives to observe reef life, take surface intervals for discussion and nourishment, then return in the evening for a night-critters briefing followed by a black-light night dive that highlights fluorescence and nocturnal behavior. The program concludes with a group debrief and dive logging.
