Four Portions: eLearning, Pool Skills, Shore and Boat Dives
The course is delivered in four portions—self‑paced PADI eLearning, confined‑water drills, two shore checkout dives and two boat dives—so skill development is gradual, deliberate and immediately applied in Hawaii’s ocean environment.
Small Classes and Full Rental Kit Included
Training runs in small groups (maximum student‑instructor ratio 6:1) and tuition covers core rental gear—exposure suit, BCD, regulator, tanks, weights, mask, snorkel and fins—so newcomers can focus on learning without equipment barriers.
Practice at Magic Island, Dive from Shore and Ala Wai Boat
Confined‑water instruction takes place at Magic Island with shore dives used for the first open‑water checkouts and a charter boat from Ala Wai Harbor for the final two certified dives, sequencing skills from protected to open ocean conditions.
What the day feels like
What the Course Feels Like
The progression is methodical: learn the theory at home, drill and master core skills in protected water, then step off the shore for two checkout dives before climbing aboard a charter to finish the final pair of dives. Instructors coach in small groups so each student gets hands‑on feedback as they move from basic gear setup and mask clearing to controlled ascents and buoyancy at increasing depths.
