Outing Highlights

THE SENSES

Guided breathwork and grounding to open your awareness

The trip pairs short breathwork and somatic practices with quiet paddling to help participants tune into body, breath and the surrounding river environment — an intentional, multi‑sensory approach to being present on the water.

THE WATER

A golden-hour paddle along the Wolastoq shoreline

Launch from the South Bay region and trace the shoreline toward Grand Bay at sunset, gliding in the calm of a summer evening and taking in the warm light and stillness of the river.

THE COMMUNITY

A reflective fireside circle to close the evening

After returning to shore the group gathers for a facilitated circle by the bonfire to integrate the paddle, share reflections and leave feeling grounded and connected.

What the day feels like

What the evening feels like

You gather at Dominion Park Beach before sunset, receive safety instruction and basic paddling coaching, and then move together to a brief breathwork and grounding session at Sunset Plaza. From there the group launches tandem kayaks into the South Bay area of the Wolastoq and paddles along the shoreline toward Grand Bay as the sun slides toward the horizon. The return to shore concludes with a reflective fireside circle that stitches the evening together.
