What to Bring

Bring photo ID, eye and ear protection, your firearm, a 1½–2 inch rigid gun belt, strong-side rigid holster (Kydex or leather), magazine pouch, two magazines and about 200 rounds of ammunition.

What Not to Bring

Do not bring belly-band, ankle, shoulder, soft, or small-of-back holsters. BlackHawk SERPA-style holsters are not allowed for this class or on the range.

Participants must have completed Forward of the Line & Competitive Shooting Safety Briefing (GS100) and Firearms Fundamentals (HG101) and/or Magnum CHP (HG102) classes before enrolling.

What equipment do I need to bring?

Bring photo ID, eye and ear protection, your firearm, a rigid gun belt (1½–2 in), a strong-side rigid holster (Kydex or leather), magazine pouch, two magazines and roughly 200 rounds of ammo.

Are any holsters prohibited?

Yes. Belly-band, ankle, shoulder, soft, and small-of-back holsters are not allowed. BlackHawk SERPA-style holsters are also prohibited for this class and on the range.

Will I be allowed to draw from my holster on the range?

After completing the course you may be permitted to draw from your holster on the range when authorized by a range officer.
