Expect a compact, action-packed 3.5-hour block of time centered on teaching park awareness, inspecting the course, and running practice and competitive runs in a friendly atmosphere. Kids check in, receive briefings, scope the course, and then take turns riding and competing under event rules that emphasize helmet use, knowing one’s limits, and course inspection before every run.

The event runs approximately 3.5 hours; check-in takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Pico Base Lodge (2nd floor) and no registration is accepted after 10:00 a.m.
Full snow-sports kit including properly fitting skis or snowboard, layered clothing, and a properly fastened snow sports helmet (required during practice, inspection, and competition).
Meet at Rams Head Lodge as instructed by the operator; parents/guardians must complete an Express Assumption of Risk form for each participant. No on-site registration is accepted after 10:00 a.m.

What ages are eligible to participate?
The event is for grom skiers and riders aged 13 and under, split into Super Grom (9 & under) and Grom (10–13) divisions.
Where and when do I check in?
Check-in is on the 2nd floor of the Pico Base Lodge from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.; no check-in or registration will be taken after 10:00 a.m. on event day.
Is a helmet required?
Yes. Each participant must wear a properly fastened snow sports helmet during all event practice, inspection, and competition.
