What the morning feels like
You meet at the operator’s marina early, enjoy a complimentary breakfast, and head offshore in the small-group vessel. After an hour or so on the water the boat arrives in whale shark territory for a guided window of in-water interaction; later the group visits North Beach for lunch and reef snorkeling before returning to the marina in the early afternoon.

Do I need to be a good swimmer?
You do not need to be a strong swimmer. Participants wear life jackets and a guide will stay next to you in the water; tell your guide if you need extra help.
Am I guaranteed to see whale sharks?
There is no guarantee of sightings; the operator notes it is very rare not to see them but there are no refunds if whale sharks are not encountered.
Can my partner ride along and not swim? Is there a discount?
Yes — someone can join without swimming to take photos or watch, but the price is the same for all participants because boat space is limited.
Is there parking at the marina?
Yes. There is a parking spot in front of the marina; the price is 50 pesos for the whole day.
Where and when do we meet?
Meet at the Mexico Whale Shark Cancun marina; vessels are stationed there and the meeting window is 7:00–7:15 AM (exact meeting time is confirmed by email the day before). The full outing lasts about six hours with an expected return to the marina around 2:00 PM, subject to weather.
