THE TECH

Why the Red Dot and How It Works

The course breaks down the mechanical and human advantages of slide‑mounted red‑dot optics: what the dot does, how it aligns with your body naturally, and why it can speed target acquisition when zeroed and presented properly.

THE DRILLS

From Dot Tracking to Multiple Threat Engagement

Participants move through progressive drills: finding the dot from the draw, tracking and driving the dot for follow‑ups, close‑range repetitions, longer‑range shots, and scenarios that simulate engaging multiple threats.

THE PRESENTATION

Presentation, Zeroing and Shooting on the Move

A focus on presentation and proper zeroing prepares shooters for practical work—then the course applies those fundamentals to shooting while moving and maintaining consistent dot placement between shots.

What the day feels like

What the day feels like

Expect a concentrated, hands‑on range day for competent shooters: instructors cover theory briefly, then move quickly into live‑fire drills that test draw, presentation, dot acquisition, follow‑ups and movement. Repetition is emphasized—more ammo yields more reps—and the pace is oriented to practical marksmanship with slide‑mounted red dots.
