Floating Yin & Sound Bath — 75 Minutes of Stillness on Rye’s Water.
Yoga practiced on a stand-up paddleboard intensifies balance and core engagement while the stillness of being afloat deepens the meditative quality of the sequence. This guided 75-minute SUP Yin class blends a longer, restful practice with a sound bath to boost concentration, challenge your practice and connect you with the coastal environment.

Floating Yin Meets a Sound Bath
The class centers on a restorative Yin sequence delivered on the paddleboard, closed with a sound bath to amplify relaxation while you float — a practice that emphasizes stillness, breath and sensory immersion.
Balance, Core Strength and Focus
Working on an unstable surface increases the demand on core and stabilizer muscles and heightens concentration, turning familiar postures into balance-focused challenges appropriate for all levels.
Small Groups and Included Gear
Classes are intentionally limited in size to keep instruction focused and personal; equipment such as a SUP, paddle, anchor and life vest are available through the operator.
What the day feels like
What the Class Feels Like
Expect a concise on-land and on-water primer, then a sustained yoga practice performed on a paddleboard where the subtle movement of the water reframes each posture; the session culminates in a sound bath savasana that uses the quiet of the water to deepen relaxation and presence.
