What the day feels like
What the lesson feels like on the water
The session moves deliberately from shore to water: a brief safety and gear overview, step‑by‑step mounting and paddle sizing, then progressive on‑water practice — starting seated or kneeling, then standing as balance and confidence grow. Expect hands‑on correction from the instructor, practice with forward and corrective strokes, and instruction on falling and safe remounting so you leave able to handle common paddling scenarios.
