Instruction is delivered by experienced surfers who are CPR/First Aid certified or trained lifeguards; Lucky Dog maintains very small student‑to‑instructor ratios to keep personalized coaching and safety front and center.
South Beach, Sea Bright — two local sites
Camp operates on the south end of Sea Bright at two rotating locations on Ocean Avenue, giving campers exclusive beach access during sessions while families should plan for limited parking and potential beach access fees for spectators.
All necessary equipment provided
If a camper lacks gear, Lucky Dog supplies wetsuits, leashes and surfboards; bringing personal boards is allowed only after instructor approval — basic items like a towel, sunscreen, change of clothes, water and a snack are expected from families.

Surf clients may access the beach without paying the beach access fee; all spectators must pay the fee, and anyone using the beach before or after camp must pay access.
