THE INSTRUCTION

Exclusive 1:1 Coaching

The Private Surf Lesson is a one‑on‑one experience with an instructor dedicated solely to your progression, maximizing wave‑catching potential through immediate, personalized feedback both on land and in the water.

THE LESSON FLOW

Land Drills, Then Waves

Each lesson begins with a tailored land session focused on paddling, stance, ocean safety and the pop‑up, then moves to sustained in‑water coaching so you can put technique into practice under direct supervision.

THE SETUP

Beginner‑Friendly Break and Safety Focus

Beginner boards and full wetsuits are provided, instructors are CPR and lifesaving certified, and adaptations—such as tandem paddling for very young children or private lessons for non‑swimmers—ensure lessons remain safe and accessible.

What the day feels like

What the Lesson Feels Like

Start with a concentrated 15–20 minute land lesson where technique and ocean safety are drilled to your level; then move into roughly an hour of guided wave riding with your instructor at arm’s length, offering corrective cues and encouragement as you attempt and refine each takeoff. The rhythm is deliberate: prepare on sand, execute in surf, then review results—photographs of the session are captured and available afterward.

Suitability

Who it's for
