Liquid Dreams’ Ride The 5 is a compact, skills-first surf camp on York’s Long Sands that compresses five different wave disciplines into a single 5-day program for participants aged 8–19. Small groups, expert instructors and included gear make it an intense, hands-on introduction to the watercraft the region’s watermen teach best.

THE FIVE DISCIPLINES

Surfing, skimboarding, SUP, boogie and body surfing

THE COACHING

The camp runs with tight instructor-to-student ratios—five or fewer students per instructor—and instruction from seasoned New England watermen, keeping progression focused and safe.

THE LOGISTICS

All equipment included, plus discounts

Camp fees cover all necessary equipment and instruction, and participants also receive access to discounts on surf-equipment packages.

What the day feels like

What the week feels like

Each day begins at 10:00 a.m. at Long Sands, where campers are fitted with wetsuits and surfboards for a focused 1–2 hour morning surf lesson; after a shore-side lunch and brief downtime, the group returns to learn a second watercraft or wave discipline shaped by conditions. Days end on the beach at 3:00 p.m., with pickup at 3:15, creating a disciplined but playful daily rhythm that stacks skill-building sessions across five consecutive days.
