Set on the Neckar opposite Max‑Eyth‑See, the SUP Grundkurs at Riverhouse is a concise, hands‑on introduction to Stand Up Paddling: in two and a half hours an expert instructor runs you through safety, core paddling technique and basic rescue skills, then puts those skills to work on the river so you can head home confident to paddle on your own.

Meet at Austraße 370, 70376 Stuttgart (Riverhouse/Riverbeach area). A trailer with SUPs is usually by the entrance; check in at the Riverboats/restaurant and the course begins behind the restaurant in the boat/launch area.
How long is the SUP Grundkurs?
The course lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Is equipment provided or must I bring my own board?
Complete equipment is included in the course; if you plan to use your own board, register it when booking.
What is the minimum number of participants?
Courses run from a minimum of six participants; bookings are combined from different websites and the operator will only cancel with definitive notice.
How can I get to the Riverhouse by public transport?
Take the U12 or U14 to the Wagrainäcker stop (or U14 to Elbestraße), then expect a 10–15 minute walk to the Riverhouse/Riverbeach area; the first buildings on the left are the locations where you should meet.
