Life‑Saving Practical Skills
The program focuses on immediate-care skills: high-quality CPR, AED use, choking response, controlling life‑threatening bleeding (direct pressure and commercial tourniquet use), and first aid for sudden illnesses and injuries such as anaphylaxis, opioid overdose, burns and heat illness.
Blended Learning, Instructor-Led Skills
This is a blended course: an online portion must be completed on a mobile device, desktop or tablet before attending the in-person skills session, where hands-on practice and assessments take place.
