It's worth stopping to admire the New Haven River and its Bartlett Falls waterfall, not far from the park. Peaceful spot.

If you don't mind the climb down the rocks there's a sweet swimming hole but pack light it's gonna get wet wear water shoes not sandals it's rocky. Crystal clear waters nice way to cool off during a 95degree day. 2 hrs went by So fast. Get there early limited parking but there's falls closer to the Bristol side to check out as well think it's the 2nd or third spot on the right heading towards eagle Park from Bristol

This place was absolutely amazing! My husband and I were camping somewhat in the area. We found this place on our way to buy maple butter. We went here the next day. The water is crystal clear and was refreshing. There are different levels depending on where you park. We were at the top. The parking is limited but free. There were little waterfalls and a spot were it gets deeper for swimming. I do recommend water shoes as it is rocky. We can't wait to go back!
