Great destination! Enjoyed the open trail and peaceful outdoor atmosphere.

My experience at the place was terrible. First, when we arrived, the young man was racist because I am dark-skinned and treated us badly.

We just spent 4 nights at the Los Quetzales Ecolodge & Spa and cannot recommend it enough! The staff was so welcoming, the food was delicious, the sauna and massages were relaxing, and being surrounded by the beauty of nature was truly refreshing! We cannot wait to return with our son, daughter-in-law, and grandkids! Whether you are looking for a quiet retreat or fun with family and friends, Los Quetzales Ecolodge and Spa has various accommodations to exceed your expectations!

The staff were very attentive. The food was excellent, and the cabins were on another level—clean, comfortable, and with everything you need for a temporary stay in a unique place with the sound of the river. There was a lovely fireplace to warm the space. I was there with my three grandchildren, and we enjoyed the beautiful waterfalls, the sound of birds, and the lush vegetation. The beds were very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen had all the utensils you need. There were plenty of bathrooms and hot water. Katy, the owner's daughter, was very kind and attentive to our needs. I forgot my hiking boots, and she sent them to the cabin first thing in the morning for our outing to explore this beautiful place in the Friendship Forest Park. I was there with my three grandchildren, and we enjoyed the beautiful waterfalls, the sounds of birds, and the surrounding vegetation. The transport staff and the guide were very friendly. They know the area very well, and I found them to be very helpful and attentive. They were good, kind people. Thank you so much, and I highly recommend the hotel in Cerro Punta.
