A beautiful location! Seems to have been deserted since the hurricane damage. Many of the buildings are abandoned. And as such, there is no more restaurants or amenities like bathrooms that I saw! Parking is free. There is also transportation to a honeymoon location. But if you’re going to the beach, continue forward to parking lot c. Have some fun snorkeling! And a ruin!

Cancel Bay beach club was the most underwhelming part of our trip. The website and social media pages make it look and sound great but it seems to be a cash grab. First you have to park at the top of the street and forced to take a shuttle that's on its last leg to the beach. $12 round trip per person. The road is NOT maintained. Its nothing but potholes and puddles for a half mile or so. HOLD ON and don't worry about the duct tape holding the back of the truck together. Your dropped off at the beach and instantly greeted by a guy with a credit card reader selling you everything. When we went the showers didn't work, water didn't work, the food was open for only a few hours which we missed, the drinks were bottom of the barrel. They show you extra large soda cans with a hefty price.. OK at least it's an xl can right? No....bait and switch, you then get a mini for $$$. The beach chairs look like old washed up chairs from the 90s. No idea where the high end boutique or branded towels were. Felt like somebody renting out their back yard and you get to use their old stuff. The snorkeling wasn't that great. About average and not as good as every other beach we hit (all of them except jumbiee and waterlemon). We felt duped, let down. Website and social media is a misrepresentation of what's going on their currently. If you don't know otherwise you might think "oh wow, this is nice" but that just means it's probably your first time to the island. Its more of a tourist trap/ scam than anything. A nice beach being capitalized in a bad way rather than being wasted entirely.
