Highly recommend this unforgettable experience! Our experience with the Manu Rainforest Peru tour group was outstanding in every respect. We most highly recommend them to anyone considering touring Manu National Park. They are a family-owned and operated business run with the utmost professionalism and a sincere desire to maximize the enjoyment of their guests. I especially appreciated their prompt responses to all our inquiries. Their staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive, and they went above and beyond to make our tour memorable with plentiful wildlife viewing opportunities and the most delicious cuisine. On the way to the rainforest, we saw the beautiful Andean cock-of-the-rock (the Peruvian national bird) in the cloud forest. We took the 5-day tour and saw a tremendous abundance of rainforest flora and fauna. This included dozens of different water bird species, the two-toed sloth, four species of macaws, four species of monkeys, giant river otters (the world’s largest otters, and endangered), white-throated toucan, an emerald tree boa, white caimans, and black caimans, giant cane toad, tarantulas, scorpion spider, and more. Our wildlife observations were made possible by the extensive knowledge and expertise of our guide, Yoan. We simply cannot say enough good things about our guide. His depth of knowledge included the particular behavioral traits of countless species, the timing of their habits, as well as their numerous calls which he replicated with precision. I have never experienced such success in spotting wildlife on other tours. Yoan is not only knowledgeable, he is kind, and considerate, and attentive to the comfort and safety of each participant. We thoroughly enjoyed his company. He never missed an opportunity to find wildlife for us. We especially appreciated his extensive knowledge of the ecological interactions among species and their environments. This background knowledge significantly enhanced our enjoyment of all the wildlife we observed and our experience overall. Every meal was delicious and gave us an opportunity to experience authentic cuisine. Each day we were provided with a variety of excellent dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed. We even had the chance to try fresh fish that was caught during one of our boating excursions, then tastefully seasoned and grilled. We also enjoyed the accommodations - at the Robles Treehouse Lodge our cabin was equipped with hot showers, private bathroom, fresh towels and linen, and mosquito nets for the beds. The logistics of transportation, accommodations, and meals were handled diligently and effectively. We were quite impressed with the way so many moving parts were well managed in order to keep our tour moving according to schedule. We enjoyed our tour from beginning to end in every way, starting with our hotel pick up in Cusco, through to our return there. It was such a beautiful experience. Our guide Angel was able to show us and let us feel what the life of the people and animals in Manu is like. We went on very beautiful hikes and saw many animals and plants. We had delicious food, and the children really enjoyed swimming and tubing in the river, which was an extra amazing experience for them.

A fantastic jungle experience with Manu Rainforest Peru. They offer multiple tours; we had a 3-day jungle tour. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable about the jungle, and taught us a lot about the animals and the people living there. We did special and unique activities, including typing, a night walk, and boating. Manu Rainforest Peru is an eco-responsible and highly professional company. All the staff, who come from the surrounding villages, go the extra mile to ensure you have an incredible experience in the Amazon rainforest. The lodges offer all the necessary comforts for a good night's sleep. The large cabin, which serves as a dining and relaxation area with hammocks, is particularly pleasant thanks to its mosquito net. The cooks prepare delicious meals, making for a truly gastronomic experience. The location is idyllic, and the boat experience gives you the feeling of living close to the daily life of the communities. This remote location allows you to make wonderful observations of the local flora and fauna during daytime and nighttime hikes, as well as during the various activities offered. To fully enjoy it, we recommend a 5-day stay. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Haider, our guide. He is exceptional, calm, attentive, and passionate about his work and the nature that surrounds him. He excels in his knowledge of the local flora and fauna.
