Beautiful moderate trail along No Name creek with great mountain views. There are lots of colors in fall. Parking is available near the trailhead but limited. Start early if you decide to hike the 9-mile out & back trail (5 +hours).

An absolutely beautiful trail and fairly easy hike, would recommend. It follows th-.e water and there is plenty of intriguing stuff and beautiful views along the way. Its about 2 miles long one way. There's a box hidden with a logbook and people leave stuff behind in there. I thought that was a nice touch. The trail is well kept and there wasn't any trash along it. We had a little trouble finding the trail, but it is up at the top of the road behind the gate. Its very dog friendly, especially if your dog likes water.

Beautiful and forested the whole way. Not incredibly steep at any point. Having the river there flowing alongside you the whole way is quite a nice feature, especially for dogs. There is an abandoned mineshaft on the west side of the canyon at the start of the hike that is an interesting historical remnant. Nicely shaded and not a crowded trail!
