The trail head has a closure sign on it. So use at your own risk. Its a steep and slippery hike down into the canyon. The trail, is in good condition down to the first waterfall. Well water trickle, currently the creek is basically dry. You have to rock climb past the first falls to get to the bigger of the two falls. Thats where you can see why the trail is closed, as there's lots of deterioration to the trail in spots. But since its so dry you can right up the creek.
