From the parking place to the river, you have to pass through a large grassland, and it is difficult to find the road. The path down to the river is short but steep. Walking upstream along the river, there is no road. You have to find your way among the river water and boulders, which is very challenging, but very interesting. The waterfall is spectacular and swimming in the pool below is great.

Did this hike with a guide on 28 Dec 2024. The waterfall was excellent, the "hike" was not exactly what I would call a hike. Lots of rock scrambling, water crossing, and water crossings while rock scrambling. 100% recommend a guide and also recommend having low expectations of moving your hands and legs freely for the less than 3 miles round trip. Nearly 100% of the hike is 3 points of contact if you are like me and don't want to slip and fall. Area is very prone to flash flooding, so the landscape and trail are frequently changing. The guides talk to one another and give each other info so they are up to date on changes in the "trail".
