Excellent place to camp and hike. Green Mountain and Council Bluff are two excellent short day hikes in the area with excellent views. The Takhlakh Lake, Takh Takh Meadows and Lava Flow hike is an excellent hike for kids or to experience the area's volcanic past. In the Mount Adams Wilderness, several challenging world-class hikes lead to spectacular subalpine meadows, glaciers, glacial creeks, and panoramic vistas. Divide Camp Meadow, High Camp/Adams Glacier Basin, and Foggy Flat-Devils Garden are three excellent hikes/backpack trips in this corner of the Mt. Adams Wilderness.
