We did the hike in the middle of the day (12 PM) since it was the only time we could spare. The trek was challenging but not impossible, even for beginners and an asthmatic person like me, as long as you take plenty of breaks. I even wore flip-flops (I had experience hiking in flip-flops, so it was not much of a problem for me). Basically, nothing is impossible. Beginners, advanced hikers, shoes, or flip-flops—don’t let any of it stop you from hiking to this amazing viewpoint.

This hill is located at Koh Adang. I took a 15mins boat taxi ride from Koh Lipe to reach this island to commence the hike. Ill highly advise you to do this hike with covered shoes. You will enjoy the hike more with proper footwear. You could still do it in slippers, but beware that the path isn't flat. It is mostly hilly and some parts are steep. People with average fitness should be able to complete the hike. There are three viewpoints. My personal view is that Viewpoint 2 and 3 is broadly similarly in terms of the span of the view. You can see Koh Lipe clearly from the viewpoints and the turquoise waters and pristine beaches around Lipe. Its a nice half day trip from Koh Lipe, and short break from the beach activities!

The hike to the viewpoint is quite strenuous due to the temperature. It's worth bringing water; it'll definitely come in handy. The view makes up for the hardship of the climb. It's definitely worth the hike and admiring Koh Lipe island from this spot.
