If you are taking the Chado Cliff short trail for the sunrise, please note that the sunrise is only visible from Viewpoint 2. You will need to start hiking around 5:30 AM, so be sure to bring a headlamp. Proceed at your own risk, as the trail is completely dark before dawn.

A bit of exertion in the heat, but the views are stunning. The entire island of Koh Lipe is clearly visible.

It's best to start hiking early in the morning when the sun isn't too strong. Bring plenty of water with you. There are three viewpoints, offering stunning views of the entire island of Koh Lipe. On the day I hiked, I started around 4 PM and only made it to the first viewpoint. The ascent to viewpoint 1 wasn't too difficult, but views 2 and 3 were quite steep and rocky in some sections. Tall trees lined the path, so if you come down too late in the evening, they'll block the sunlight and make it difficult to see the way. If I have the chance to go again, I'll try hiking this route again.
