This review is for the kayak rental. The guy working at the kayak rental is really rude. He told me that I could not go on a paddleboard with my daughter even though their website states that an adult can accompany a minor on a paddleboard if the minor is less than 90 lbs, which she clearly is. He also tried to convince me not to let my teenage son go out on a paddleboard because it was too dangerous. The conditions were calm and sunny with almost no wind. When I said I would like to rent the paddleboard anyway, he called me "shady" and refused to rent to me. Probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Fantastic location to kayak into Emerald Bay and explore the Tea House on the island. Start early to beat the wind, save some stamina for the paddle back (it can be a tough headwind), and bring plenty of snacks to enjoy along the route. Totally worth the effort!
