I followed the big loop hike on AllTrails and ran into this, but I don't recommend following that hike if you just want to see this. You can save a few miles and elevation gain by going left to start at the parking lot versus going right. However, I definitely recommend going right after returning to the parking lot about a mile in to see some awesome rock formations.

Big Balanced Rock: A Precarious Marvel Located about 58 km southeast of Willcox, Arizona, Chiricahua National Monument is home to one of nature's most incredible feats of balance: Big Balanced Rock. This massive, gravity-defying boulder appears to float precariously on a narrow pedestal.
